How It Works
meet & Plan
Just like it’s essential that you say “yes” to the perfect dress for your wedding day, you need to make sure you’re choosing a photographer who is a great fit as well. The perfect photographer for you is not just one who can deliver pretty photos, but one who will communicate reliably. Once we get to know each other and you decide we’re compatible, we can save your date through my simple, easy-to-understand booking agreement.

engagement session
Our first photo session is magic. We get to pick out your favorite local spots, outfit color scheme, and time of year. All of these small details will come together when you use your engagement photos on your wedding website, in your invitation suite, at your bridal shower(s), and more. Our couples love their engagement sessions because they feel like it’s a practice run for the big day, leaving them more comfortable and confident than before.
step two
final planning meeting
While we will be actively communicating and working through ideas between booking day and wedding day, we will review and finalize all of the most important details during our last planning meeting. We will go over schedules, family picture requests, unique pre-ceremony photo needs, and more. This is our chance to work through any worries so that you can enjoy and fully participate in your own wedding day.

your wedding day
Your big day has arrived and your mind will be racing with all of the last-minute details, like making sure you have tissues and hairpins on hand. But because you hired M Harris Studios, you can rest easy knowing we will be arriving early and well-prepared to capture even the most subtle of sweet moments between you and all of your loved ones. We can’t wait to share our artistry with you from your wedding day.
step four
delivery of images
After the wedding, we will get to work to edit the photos and videos in our classic style. Once they are completed, I will deliver your final images digitally through my favorite photo gallery software and we will schedule a time to meet on a video call to design your gorgeous wedding album. In a few weeks, you will have your album (and all the gallery prints your heart desires) in your hands. Prepare yourself for happy tears.

client for life
If your collection includes Client for Life, your wedding is only the beginning. For three years after your day, I photograph one session a year as your family grows, so your legacy keeps being documented at the M Harris standard.
step six
Michelle Harris photographs your wedding personally. Eight hours of coverage, a second photographer, and the M Harris preparation, posing, and editing standard from start to finish. Planning built with your planner in the weeks before the day. Client for Life, film coverage, and a content creator on site are available.
